Mini Bikes Recalled by Baja Motorsports Due to Fall and Crash Hazards
Baja Motosports has recently recalled approximately 4,600 gas powered mini bikes due to a fall and crash hazard.
About the Baja Motorsports Mini Bike
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the front fork is capable of separating from the front wheel. This poses a fall and crash hazard to riders.
So far, there have been 22 reports of the forks separating from the wheel and 11 minor injuries reported.
The CPSC urges customers to stop using the mini bikes immediately and to contact Baja Motorsports in order to schedule free maintenance on the bike.

- The recalled mini bikes have a black frame, a padded black seat, a storage tank, camoflauge fenders, a head light, and a tail light.
- A decal that reads “Baja Warrior 200” is in a circle with wings on both sides of the storage tank.
- The date of manufacture is on the bottom right of the Vehicle Emissions Control Information attached to the front side of the engine.
