Motorcyclist, 22, Killed in Crash with Drunk Driver

According to WCSC, a motorcyclist is dead after being hit by a car driven by a drunk driver in Hanahan, South Carolina, on Saturday night.

About the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

Bryon Bouton, 22, was riding his motorcycle on Railroad Avenue at around 7 p.m. local time when the fatal accident occurred. Near Trident Technical College, the motorcyclist crashed into a vehicle.

Officials report that Bouton, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was thrown from his motorcycle in the collision. According to WCSC, we would be pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

The driver of the car, Lauren Ann Nolen, was arrested following the motorcycle crash, reports WCSC. Police have charged her with felony DUI resulting in death and having an open container in a motor vehicle. The accident is currently under investigation.
