Motorcyclist, 23, Struck and Killed by Car

According to the Miami Patch, a man is dead following a motorcycle crash with another vehicle in Miami, Florida, on Tuesday night.

Details of Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Darius Leroy Roberts, 23, was traveling on State Road 989 near Old Cutler Road when the fatal crash occurred. Roberts was struck by a car attempting a left turn onto Old Cutler Road.

The Miami Patch reports that the black Ford Focus struck the front of Roberts’ motorcycle, tossing him from the motorcycle and onto the car’s windshield. Roberts was transported to Ryder Trauma Center of Jackson Memorial Hospital where he would succumb to his injuries.

Beverly April, 52, the driver of the car, sustained an unknown injury in the fatal accident. Two minors and a 23-year-old woman also inside the car were uninjured.
