CBS New York is reporting that a man was struck and killed by a snow plow on Sunday afternoon in Oyster Bay Cove in Long Island.
According to Nassau County police, the victim, 66-year-old Al Mansoor, was in front of his home on Cove Woods Road at around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday when he was hit by a snow plow that was clearing snow from the property.
The victim was rushed to Northwell Health Syosset Hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 2:40 p.m.
The damage and death toll on the Eastern Seaboard continue to rise after a blizzard dumped more than two feet of snow in some parts of the Tri-State area.
No criminal charges are expected to be filed in this accident, according to police.
