Overnight Rollover Kills One in San Antonio
Details about the Fatal Rollover
KSAT 12 News in San Antonio is reporting that a man was killed in an early morning rollover accident in San Antonio on the far north side of the city, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
Police have stated that the single car accident was reported at about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, and happened along the southbound lanes of Highway 281 and Overlook Parkway.
When authorities arrived at the scene of the accident, they found that the driver, who was in his 20s, lost control of his vehicle and drove off the roadway. He then hit a tree and a utility pole before the vehicle rolled multiple times onto Baptist Emergency Hospital property.
According to deputies, there were no other passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The name of the victim has not been released at this time, but an investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
