Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Two Vehicles in Hit-and-Run; Driver on Loose

According to the Houston Chronicle, a man has died after being struck by two cars in a pedestrian accident in Pearland, Texas, on Sunday morning.

One Driver Still Missing

Police found the body of a Houston man lying in the middle of the 3700 block of Main Street at around 5:09 a.m. The man received treatment at Clear Lake Regional Hospital but succumbed to his injuries, reports the Houston Chronicle.

Investigators discovered that the man was hit by two cars, both of which fled the scene following the fatal pedestrian accident. The Houston Chronicle reports that the driver of the car that initially struck the man later arrived at the police department to be interviewed.

The second motorist is still on the loose, but police located pieces of the vehicle at the scene of the crash. According to the Houston Chronicle, the missing car is a 2003-2004 Saturn Ion with damage to the driver’s side.
