Peg Perego is issuing a recall on approximately 3,000 children’s ride-on toy vehicles due to a fire and burn hazard.

About the Peg Perego Toy Vehicle Recall

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall was spurred by a relay on the toy vehicle’s circuit board failing, causing the toy to overheat and ignite.

Peg Perego received three reports of the toy vehicles overheating, including a report of a burn injury.

Consumers are urged to stop children from using the recalled products immediately. Owners can contact Peg Perego for a replacement circuit board with installation instructions, free of charge. Peg Perego will also contact known customers of the recalled toy vehicles.
