Schlitterbahn Sued for Waterslide Accident

A man from Harris County is suing Schlitterbahn for negligence resulting in a waterslide injury. The plaintiff claims pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, and loss of earning capacity.

The South East Texas Record reports that, Gordon Conover from Harris Country is filing suit against Schlitterbahn Beach Resort Management.

Conover allegedly suffered injuries when he collided with another individual while riding the water slide at Schlitterbahn’s Galveston Island Water Park. The victim claims that the water slide attendant was negligent because he failed to safely allow guests to slide down the slide with the proper amount of separation in order to avoid injury.

Conover also claims that the employee failed to properly inform about the water slides dangerous condition.
