An 18-year-old woman tragically lost her life last Sunday after being involved in an early morning collision in San Antonio.
A recent report from News 4 SA details a fatal crash which occurred Sunday, November 15. Dominique Otra, 18, was driving a Mustang northbound near Prue Road at around 1:32 am when she was involved in a two-vehicle accident.
Police believe a Dodge Challenger, carrying two males, may have attempted to pass the Otra’s Mustang and accidentally sideswiped the vehicle. The impact caused the Otra to lose control of her Mustang and spin into a pole.
Emergency service personnel were alerted to the 7900 block of Prue Road to attend to Otra who had been ejected from her vehicle and trapped underneath the car. EMS worked quickly to save the teen and transported her to University Hospital under critical care. She later succumbed to her injuries.
