Thousands of Frigidaire Refrigerators Recalled: Laceration and Choking Hazard
According to abc27 news, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a recall of 383,240 Electrolux Group Frigidaire side by side refrigerator units due to a potential laceration and choking hazard.
Recall Details
The recalled refrigerators contain an ice bucket piece that can break, causing small pieces of plastic to fall into the ice. This poses a risk of injury if swallowed or inhaled.
Affected Refrigerators:
- Model numbers: DGHK2355TF, DGHX2655TF, FFSC2323TS, FGSC2335TD, FGSC2335TF, FGSS2635TD, FGSS2635TE, FGSS2635TF, FGSS2635TP, FPSC2277RF, FPSC2278UF, FPSS2677RF, LFSC2324VF, LGHK2336TD, LGHK2336TF, LGHX2636TD, and LGHX2636TF.
- Manufactured: Between November 2015 and September 2019.
- Sold: Lowe’s, Home Depot, other stores nationwide, and online at Frigidaire.com.

1. Stop using the ice maker immediately.

- Find the model and serial number on the label inside the refrigerator compartment.
- Visit CPSC website to see if your serial number is included.
