Bark in the Park
CONTEST WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN OCTOBER 5, 2020 WITH A REGISTRATION FEE OF $5 – ALL PROCEEDS BENEFITING LOCAL PET RESCUES!
Bark in the Park started in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2012 as a fun, festive event bringing together pet-owners, local pet businesses, pet rescue organizations, and no-kill pet shelters in an attempt to raise money and awareness for pet initiatives in the community. Every year we strive to provide a memorable experience to our contestants and guests so that we can continue to provide financial support to Bark in the Park beneficiaries.
While COVID-19 has certainly created unique challenges for our 2020 event, Thomas J. Henry decided that the show must go on. As such, the 9th Annual Thomas J. Henry Bark in the Park will happen as an entirely online event! This year’s online pet costume contest will be open to residents of Austin, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio, Texas.
Also, because our regular San Antonio and Corpus Christi events are being combined into a single virtual event, Thomas J. Henry will be awarding more prizes than ever before, including a Grand Prize of $2,500 for the first place winner!
Registration opens October 5th, so start planning your pet costume ideas if you have not already. We expect some stiff competition this year, so be extra creative. Don’t have a pet costume and wondering how you can you still help? You can donate today with 100% of the proceeds benefitting our Bark in the Park beneficiaries!
We look forward to seeing what our Bark in the Park contestants can come up with! If you have any questions, please feel free to email barkinthepark@tjhlaw.com.
