Hesters Crossing was shut down for seven hours after an 18-Wheeler crashed and spilled fuel across the roadway.
KXAN reports the crash occurred around 1:50 a.m. Thursday and involved an 18-wheeler and a passenger car. The 18-wheeler overturned coming to rest on its passenger side.
Hesters Crossing Road was closed between the southbound Interstate 35 frontage road and Rawhide Drive near the Hesters Crossing Shopping Center.
The roadway was left closed for about seven hours as crews cleared and cleaned the scene. Lanes were reopened around 9:00 a.m.
