2 Dead After Car Veers Off I-35, Driver Flees Scene
Two people are dead as a result of a car accident on Interstate 35 on July 10. Police are searching for the driver at fault for the crash.
Details of the Fatal Austin Crash
According to KXAN, the fatal crash happened around 4:21 am in the 5200 block of the North Interstate 35 frontage road.
Police said a 2021 Toyota Camry carrying four occupants lost control on the interstate and veered off the road.
Two of the passengers, Charlie Jackson, 38, and David Bearden, 20, were ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. A third passenger was hospitalized in critical condition.
The driver of the Camry fled the scene, and police are seeking information on the accident and the driver’s location.
