According to ABC 13, a woman and a child are dead following a tragic accident at a Houston intersection.

About the Fatal Houston Crash

According to Houston police, the crash took place in the 15000 block of Lee Road. A tractor-trailer had been heading westbound crashed into a Buick that was running a red light. The Buick also collided with two other vehicles, a Ford pickup and a blue Buick LeSabre which were parked in front of a gas station, police said.

Emergency vehicles took the Buick driver and its passengers to the hospital. The driver had non-life-threatening injuries. The other passengers, a 25-year-old woman and a 3-year-old child, were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Authorities are continuing to investigate. No charges have been filed at this time.
