Construction Worker Killed in Las Vegas Forklift Accident
A construction worker was fatally injured Monday after being involved in a forklift accident in Las Vegas.
Details of the Fatal Las Vegas Construction Accident
According to KSNV, the accident occurred around 9:48 am near Sunset Road and South Grand Canyon Drive.
LVMPD responded to the accident but announced they will not being investigating the death. Instead, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will investigate the incident.
The victim’s identity has not been released.

- 4,836 workers were killed on the job in 2015. This averages to more than 93 deaths a week or more than 13 deaths every day.
- Of the 4,379 worker fatalities that occurred in private industry, 937 were associated with construction.

- Struck by object
- Electrocutions
- Caught-In/Between
