About the North Austin 6-Car Wreck
KXAN News reports the crash occurred in North Austin near Braker Lane on December 30 and involved a total of 6 vehicles, including an 18-wheeler. Details of the crash were announced by the Texas Department of Transportation’s Twitter. The official tweet stated:
UPDATE: Interstate 35 south of Braker Ln has reopened in both directions. Drive carefully on the wet roads. #my35 #atxtraffic
Both southbound and northbound lanes were initially blocked off by authorities. I-35 has since then been fully reopened for public use.
