A man was killed Thursday morning after his SUV collided with a bulldozer at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 East.
According to KSAT, the bulldozer was making a U-turn when 33-year-old Jose Francisco Banda entered the intersection, trying to beat a red light. Banda applied his breaks but could not avoid colliding the bulldozer.
The SUV hit the side of the bulldozer, and Banda became pinned inside of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
