One Dead in 3-Vehicle Central Texas Crash
A three-vehicle crash left a man dead in Central Texas early Tuesday morning. Three others were injured in the accident.
Details of the Fatal Central Texas Crash
According to KWTX, the crash occurred in Salado, Texas at around 8:40 a.m.
Police say a 2010 Toyota passenger car was traveling westbound on FM 2483 when was struck by an oncoming 2008 Dodge Pickup that crossed over the center line while navigating a curve. The Dodge then struck a 2006 Nissan pickup.
A passenger in the Toyota, 25-year-old Javier Edgardo Castro Romero of Temple, died at the scene. The driver of the Toyota and a second passenger were taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple. The Driver of the Dodge was also hospitalized.
The road was closed for several hours following the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
