A person is dead following a car accident on the Interstate 35 frontage road in north Austin Tuesday night.
According to KXAN, the crash occurred around 8:45 pm in the 12100 block of the I-35 frontage road near Braker Lane.
The incident began as a minor collision between two vehicles. A person involved in that collision left their car and was standing in their roadway when they were hit and killed by a third vehicle.
Traffic was shutdown on the frontage road between Bowery Trail and Yager Lane. The events leading up to the first crash were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
