San Antonio Police Search for Drivers in Two Separate Hit-and-Runs
Police in San Antonio are searching for the drivers involved in two separate crashes that left one person dead and another hospitalized last week.
Details of the San Antonio Hit-and-Runs
According to MySA, the first crash occurred around 10:30 pm Friday, August 30 when a pickup struck a bicyclist at the intersection of Historical Highway 90 and San Joaquin Street.
The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. The bicyclist was hospitalized in critical condition; fortunately, his condition has stabilized since the collision.
Another pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday, September 3 just before 10:00 pm. In that crash, the pedestrian was crossing the intersection of Culebra Road and North General McMullen Drive on the city’s Westside when he was struck and killed by a pickup.
Again, the driver of the truck failed to stop and render aid.
Police are searching for both drivers, who will likely face charges upon arrest.
