Suspected Drunk Driving Accident Leaves Mother, Son Hospitalized
A mother and her son were hospitalized following a head-on collision in South Side San Antonio. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
About the San Antonio Head-On Collision
According to KSAT, the crash occurred on Zarzamora Street when a Dodge pickup lost control and veered into oncoming traffic. The pickup collided head-on with a vehicle that was carrying a woman and her son.
The mother and her son were both transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford was detained for suspected drunk driving, and police revealed charges for the driver are pending.
The accident remains under investigation.
