Two people have been hospitalized with potentially serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash in northwest Austin Wednesday morning.
KXAN reports the crash occurred at 7:01 am at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 2222 and Farm-to-Market Road 620 in the Four Points area. Two people were trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by responders.
EMS declared both of the victims trauma alerts and transported them to St. David’s Round Rock hospital with potentially serious injuries.
FM 2222 was closed near River Place Blvd following the crash, but traffic has been reopened.
The cause of the crash was not immediately available, and the accident remains under investigation.
