Southbound Lanes of Dallas North Tollway Closed After 18-Wheeler Crash

A multi-vehicle pileup involving an 18-wheeler has shut down southbound lanes of Dallas North Tollway at Texas State Highway Loop 12.

Details of the Dallas Trucking Accident

According to WFAA, the crash occurred around 11:08 a.m. Friday after an 18-wheeler collided with multiple vehicles before crashing into a wall. Calls to 911 dispatchers indicated the crash involved 6 to 15 vehicles.

Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that two people have been transported to the accident and that multiple people were injured.

Officials also stated that 170 gallons of diesel spilled onto the roadway. The crash remains under investigation.
