1 Dead, Several Injured in Georgia Trucking Accident

One person is dead and five others are injured following a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 285 in Georgia.

Details of the Georgia 18-Wheeler Accident

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the crash occurred Tuesday when five tractor-trailers and one car collided on Interstate 285 at Camp Creek Parkway.

Preliminary reports suggest one of the tractor-trailers was traveling northbound when it collided with three other big rigs before rear-ending a car. The car was then forced underneath another tractor-trailer.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Five other people were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
