At Least One Dead, Multiple Injured After Crash in Tye, Texas
Police are investigating a fatal crash that left one person dead and several others injured in Tye, Texas Wednesday afternoon.
Details of the Fatal Tye Crash
KTAB reports the fatal crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near FM 707.
Police confirmed one death and stated multiple others were injured, though they did not release the conditions of those injured.
It is unclear what caused the accident, but it does appear to be a single-vehicle crash. The incident remains under investigation.
Tye is part of the Abilene metropolitan area, located in Taylor County just west of the metro center.
