Corpus Christi Police Respond to Multi-Vehicle Crash on SPID

Police responded to a multi-vehicle crash near the intersection of Airline Road and SPID Monday afternoon.

Details of the Corpus Christi Crash

According to KRIS-TV, the crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. when a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed clipped two other cars before veering into a parking lot, flipping over, and hitting several other vehicles.

It was not clear how many people were injured in the collision, but at least one person was hospitalized in a serious-critical condition. Ambulance crews also took an infant to the hospital.

All lanes of traffic were closed along the 5900 block of SPID WB at Airline. Drivers were urged to find an alternate route.
