East Texas Murder Suspect Arrested After Fatal Crash in Arlington
A murder suspect in East Texas was arrested Tuesday following a fatal crash in Arlington.
Details of the Fatal Arlington Crash
According to CBS 19, the crash occurred in the 1500 block of East Randol Mill Road around 1:40 am.
Authorities say a 62-year-old man was traveling westbound on E. Randol Mill when Dangelo Ortega, of Garland, ran a red light at the AT&T Way intersection and struck his vehicle. The 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ortega was arrested for intoxication manslaughter. A passenger in the vehicle, Latarik Jackson, was arrested on warrants for murder and aggravated assault out of Harrison County. A second passenger of the vehicle was released to medical staff at the scene.
