The family of an Abilene man who was killed in a hit-and-run on Saturday is asking for the driver responsible to come forward.
According to KTXS, Roy Flores was struck and killed on Highway 80 near Forney, Texas early Saturday morning.
Police say Flores, a truck driver for UPS, was on his way to swap his 18-wheeler for his personal vehicle and head home when the accident occurred. Authorities believe Flores pulled to the side of the highway after becoming nauseous and was struck as he exited his vehicle.
The other driver fled the scene after striking Flores.
Police are working to identify the driver responsible for the fatal crash, and Flores’ family is requesting that the driver grant them closure by coming forward.
