Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, and Kawasaki Recall Over 1 Million Vehicles

Multiple car manufacturers have issued recalls for a variety of models. Problems with the vehicles include engine stalling, e-brake failures, fuel leaks, exterior issues, and tire valve problems.

Recall Descriptions

The following information was published by USA Today.

  • Kawasaki has recalled 991 of their 2023 ZX400SPFNL model motorcycles due to a loose connection between the rotor and crank shift. This causes the engine to stall and leads to a highly increased risk of crashing.
  • Ford issued recalls for multiple of their vehicle models.  Over 870,000 F-150s made between 2021-2023 were recalled because contact with the rear axle may damage wiring, causing the parking brake to randomly trigger itself automatically.
  • Ford has also recalled over 100,000 models of their 2014-2016 Transit Connect vehicles due to a door latch problem. This caused the vehicle doors to not be able to properly latch on and completely seal.
  • Another 38,000 2023 Ford Escape SUVs and Super Duty series trucks were recalled as well, due to the improper soldering of their instrument and side panels.
  • 1,000 more 2023 Ford Super Duty series trucks were recalled due to the windows not being able to fully reverse when an obstruction is detected, leading to serious possible injuries.
  • Toyota recalled about 200 of their 2023 RAV 4 SUVs because of possible improperly installed tire valves.
  • Chrysler has recalled nearly 1,000 of their 2023 Pacifica Hybrid SUVs because of a potential fuel leak, which could result in vehicle fires and combustions.

Any and all of these motor vehicles should be quickly taken to their respective dealerships to have these problems looked at and properly assessed. Vehicle accidents can be fatal and should be prevented at all costs.
