A major accident in Corpus Christi caused serious traffic delays on the Harbor Bridge Monday evening.
KIII-TV reports that a black SUV was traveling northbound on the Harbor Bridge towards Portland when it overturned and landed upside down. Police responded at around 5 pm and closed down the right two lanes of the highway as they cleared the scene.
Traffic was backed up for more than a mile with drivers waiting up to 40 minutes to make it across the bridge.
The accident remains under investigation, but police did say no one was injured in the accident.
