65-Year-Old Man Dead in Northeast San Antonio Trucking Accident
A 65-year-old man was killed early Friday morning following a crash involving a tractor-trailer on San Antonio’s Northeast Side.
Details of the Fatal San Antonio Trucking Accident
According to KSAT, the fatal crash occurred around 5:40 am Friday near the intersection of Toepperwein Road and Loma Azul Street, close to Interstate 35.
Police say a Ford Fusion driven by David Rubrecht, 65, was traveling westbound on Toepperwein Road when it collided with a truck that was coming out of the San Antonio Auto Action parking lot. Police suspect Rubrecht was speeding.
Rubrecht was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center by EMS where he later died.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
