Dallas Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Dump Truck
A motorcyclist died Thursday morning in a crash with a dump truck in northeast Dallas.
Details of the Dallas Motorcycle Accident
According to WFAA, the crash occurred around 1 a.m. on Forest Lane near the LBJ Freeway service road.
Police say the dump truck was traveling northbound on the service road when a motorcycle ran a red light and crashed into the driver-side door of the truck. The motorcycle was thrown from his vehicle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver remained on the scene is was not injured.
The service road was closed while police worked the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
