NW Austin Car Crash Smashes into Tree, Sending Two to Hospital
A car slammed into a tree early Thursday morning, January 11th, 2024, near northwest Austin. Two people sustained injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
Incident Details
CBS Austin reports that approximately around 12:07 A.M, a car crashed into a tree on Spicewood Springs Road in northwest Austin. Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene and found one person pinned inside the vehicle. Firefighters from the Austin Fire Department successfully extricated the individual.
Both the driver and the passenger in the car were transported to local hospitals with potentially harmful injuries. One patient was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center, while the other was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the Austin Police Department. No details about the individuals involved or the type of vehicle have been released yet.
