One Killed, Two Hospitalized in San Antonio Accident

KSAT 12 News is reporting that The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has revealed the name of the woman who was killed in a car accident that happened on Sunday afternoon. 23-year-old Alexandra Dickerson was killed on Sunday, when the vehicle she was riding in crashed into a concrete pillar.

According to San Antonio police, two men and Dickerson were driving down Wurzbach Parkway near the intersection of Starcrest Drive when the driver of the vehicle lost control.

At this time, police believe weather played a role in the accident. Dickerson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and one of the male passengers was taken to University Hospital in unknown injuries. The other passenger was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening head trauma.

At this time, alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in the accident.
