San Antonio Area Records Multiple Crashes on St. Patrick’s Day

San Antonio police responded to several crashes Thursday night as San Antonians closed their St. Patrick’s Day activities.

Car Overturns After Being Struck at Ingram Road

At around 10:30 pm, the San Antonio Fire Department rescued a man and a woman in their 30s along with their 5-month-old baby.

MySA reports their vehicle was struck by a Sedan turning onto Ingram Road causing it to overturn.

All three were transported to University Hospital.

Driver Killed in Crash at 1604 and Medina Creek

Police arrived at the scene of a fatal crash on Loop 1604 near Medina Creek where a vehicle drove off the highway and landed in a creek.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

Woman Extricated from Vehicle on E. Elmira Street

A third collision occurred just after 1 a.m. March 18 in the downtown area. A woman was driving on E. Elmira Street when she lost control of her vehicle near McCullough Avenue. She went of the road and landed in the southbound lanes of lower Interstate 35,

Emergency crews were able to extricate the woman after removing multiple doors from the vehicle. She was hospitalized in critical condition.
