San Antonio Parking Lot Car Accident Leaves One Woman Hospitalized

KSAT reports that a woman was hospitalized after she was hit by a vehicle in a parking lot on San Antonio’s East Side late Monday night.

Details of the Parking Lot Accident

The San Antonio Police Department stated that the incident occurred around 11 p.m. at a Walmart store in the 2100 block of Southeast Loop 410, not far from Rigsby Avenue.

The woman seemed to be either getting off of work or going on a break when she was struck by a man in his 20s in the pickup area of the parking lot.

The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call and the woman was quickly rushed to a nearby hospital.
