Young Man Dies After Losing Control of Motorcycle
A young man is dead following a fatal motorcycle accident in San Antonio on Saturday, October 10.
About the Accidental Motorcycle Death
According to KSAT, Tyler Clay Nalley has been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner as the deceased victim of the North Side motorcycle crash. Nalley was 23-years-old at the time of death and had sustained multiple blunt force injuries from the incident.
Authorities have determined that Nalley was rapidly approaching westbound Starcrest, near the 12400 block, before suddenly losing control over his motorcycle. He then struck a curb and was thrown 15 feet into the air off of his motorcycle and into a ditch with life-threatening injuries. Those injuries later led to his passing. San Antonio Police reported that no other vehicles were involved in the case at the time.

- 3,531 people were killed in traffic collisions in Texas in 2015, marking little change from the 3,536 deaths recorded in 2014.
- Motorcyclists (passengers and operators) accounted for 459 of the fatalities recorded in 2015.
- Of the 459 motorcyclists killed, roughly 52 percent were not wearing a helmet at the time of their collision.
- An additional 246,335 people were injured in traffic accidents in Texas in 2015.
