Chanta’l Lillie

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's Houston Office

Attorney Chanta’l Lillie is a native Houstonian. She was born and raised in this great city. She is the first in her family to matriculate through college and receive a degree as well as receive a Juris Doctorate. Throughout her life, Ms. Lillie’s family has been her backbone, pushing her through difficult situations and serving as a foundation to remind her of principles to use as tools in life. She accredits the woman she is today to her loving parents who have supported her dreams and have unequivocally helped make them a reality. The love and support she received from her parents are the basis for how she treats her clients.

After graduating with honors from Hampton University in 2012, she worked for about three years to gain experience in the legal field at a well-known ad valorem tax firm. From 2015 through 2018, she attended Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of law. During her tenure in law school, she was the managing editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Journal on Gender, Race, and Justice, participated in the Street Law program where she would go to high schools and teach students about the legal system, and was on the board for the Black Law Students Association. These are just a few of the extra-curricular activities Ms. Lillie completed while obtaining her education.  She is very proud that her collegiate success stems from Historically Black Universities.

Upon receiving her Juris Doctorate, Ms. Lillie worked at several law firms and has gained substantial knowledge in a variety of practice areas including, but not limited to, family law, probate, estate planning, and civil rights. From these areas of practice, the common denominator was people, which has led her to the area of personal injury. She has a heart for the people!

In her spare time, Ms. Lillie loves to spend time with her family, exercise, and take her dog “Princeton” to the park. As a licensed attorney in the State of Texas she is committed to meeting her client’s needs and resolving their legal matters in the most efficient manner.
