700,000 Rocking Baby Sleepers Recalled After 5 Infant Deaths
Kids II has issued a recall for 700,000 rocking baby sleepers following the deaths of five infants.
About the Kids II Rocking Sleeper Recall
According to the NY Times, Kids II manufactures baby products for several brands, including Baby Einstein, Ingenuity, Bright Starts, and Disney Baby.
In total, roughly 694,000 rocking sleepers have been recalled nationwide. Recalled units were sold at Walmart, Target, Toys “R” Us as well as online between march 2012 and April 2019 for about $40 to $80.
The recall calls only a few weeks after Fisher Price recalled 4.7 million of its Rock n’ Play sleepers. Fisher Prices sleepers were linked to the deaths of 10 infants though the American Academy of Pediatricians suspects the death count may be as high as 32.
Consumers will receive a refund for the recalled baby rockers.
