Costco & Sam’s Club Recall: Specific Charcuterie Meats Linked to Salmonella Illness
According to USA Today, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has expanded its recall of potentially contaminated charcuterie meats linked to a Salmonella outbreak. The recall now includes all lots of the following products:
- Busseto Foods Charcuterie Sampler sold at Sam’s Club (previously only one lot code was recalled)
- Fratelli Beretta brand Antipasto Gran Beretta sold at Costco

- Illnesses: 47 people sickened, 10 hospitalized across 22 states (likely undercounts)
- Symptoms: Bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, stomach cramps (usually within 6 days of exposure)
- Action: Discard affected products, wash surfaces thoroughly
