Fatal Crash Closes I-45 in Ellis County


According to the Dallas News, in the Ellis County town of Garrett, a deadly crash closed down Interstate 45.
Details of Fatal Accident
The crash occurred at around 2:00 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the interstate. One person died in the crash, and four others required hospitalization.
Two other occupants received treatment at the scene for injuries sustained in the wreck. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, Interstate 45 was reopened around three hours following the crash.
The Dallas News reports that the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
