Fort Hood Soldier Killed In Motorcycle Accident Near Base

A U.S. Army soldier stationed at Fort Hood, Specialist Eric Robert Moses, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Killeen, Texas.

About the Killeen Motorcycle Crash

According to the Boston Globe, Eric Moses, 21, died on December 3rd of his injuries suffered in the crash. Details of the crash are still being determined and no specific cause has been blamed.

Moses entered active duty in October 2013. He earned several awards and decorations during his service, including the Army Achievement Medal, Army Service Ribbon, an Expert Rifle Marksmanship Qualification Badge, and the National Defense Service Medal.

He was assigned to the 3rd Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood in February 2014.
