Man Hit, Killed by Car after Daughter’s Soccer Game

According to WFMZ, a New Jersey man was hit and killed by a car at an intersection in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, after watching his daughter’s soccer game.

Death Ruled an Accident

Charles Nasta, 64, was struck and killed while crossing the street near West Elizabeth Avenue and Iron Street. The man was treated at the scene and taken to St. Luke’s University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. He received several blunt force trauma injuries during the wreck.

Nasta had just finished watching his daughter’s soccer game at Moravian College, according to WFMZ. The college said grief counselors are available for anyone on the soccer team or at the university.

Officials are working on reconstructing the fatal pedestrian incident. The crash occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. local time, reports WFMZ.
