Motorcyclist Killed in Oklahoma City Accident

A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in northwest Oklahoma City.

Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident

News Oklahoma is reporting that a man has died as a result of his injuries that he suffered in a Wednesday motorcycle accident that happened in the northwest part of Oklahoma City, according to police.

22-year-old Austin Bailey, of Yukon, died at the Oklahoma University medical Center after an accident that happened on the 8400 block of North MacArthur Boulevard at about 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

According to police, Bailey was with a group of motorcycle driver who were heading north on North MacArthur Boulevard. Just north of the curve on West Wilshire Boulevard, Bailey reportedly lost control of the motorcycle and hit his head on the pavement. Police have said that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. His bike slid into another motorcycle, but that driver able to maintain control and was not injured.
