One Dead in Lago Vista Cement Truck Crash

A truck driver was killed Friday morning after the cement truck he was driving overturned in Lago Vista.

Details of the Lago Vista Truck Accident

According to FOX 7 Austin, the crash occurred around 9 am on Destination Way.

Police arrived to the scene after receiving reports of the crash to find a cement truck that appeared to have been traveling southbound overturned off the roadway. The driver was declared dead at the scene.

Destination Way was closed from Old Burnet Road to Ming Trail for several hours as police and crews worked the scene and cleared the wreckage.

The crash remains under investigation.
