One Dead, Two Injured in Justin Auto Accident
A fatal collision along FM 156 near Northwest High School in Justin, Texas Monday evening has left one person dead and two others hospitalized with serious injuries.

According to the Denton Record-Chronicle, an unidentified 16-year-old girl was killed when her Ford Contour was struck by an oncoming Ford three-quarter ton pickup along FM 156 in Denton County around 5:30 p.m.
The teenager’s passenger, also 16, was rushed to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth where she is being treated for serious injuries. The driver of the Ford pickup is also in serious condition.
Northwest ISD has confirmed that both teenagers were enrolled at Northwest High School, but has not released any additional information. The school district has stated that they will have counselors on campus to aid students.
While investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the accident, they suspect icy roads were likely a factor. Classes across the Northwest school district were canceled Tuesday due to icy weather.
