Ozempic, Mounjaro Manufacturers Sued for Serious Side Effects, Including “Stomach Paralysis”

About the Ozempic and Mounjaro Lawsuits

The case cited in the lawsuit involves a 44-year-old woman from Louisiana. The woman first took Ozempic then Mounjaro at the discretion of her doctor.
According to the lawsuit, the woman has suffered multiple side effects, some so severe that they required multiple trips to the emergency room. While the lawsuit states the woman has not officially been diagnosed with gastroparesis, it does note related symptoms including severe vomiting to the point that the woman has lost teeth.
The lawsuit states that both Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly and Co. failed to warn consumers about the potential adverse outcomes. The firm handling the suit added it is investigating 400 similar inquiries from at least 45 separate states.
