Bexar County Tops List of Worst Distracted Driving Offenders

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has released a new report revealing just how prevalent distracted driving crashes are in Texas. In their report, TxDOT included the total number of distracted driving crashes recorded, the number of distracted driving crashes per 1,000 people, and the total number of deaths attributed to distracted driving for counties across Texas.

Bexar County topped the list on all measures by a substantial margin. Below are other major offenders.

    • Total Distracted Driving Fatalities: 65
  2. Harris County
