Police Investigate Fatal Hit-and-Run in San Patricio County
Investigators are looking into a fatal hit-and-run in San Patricio that left a man in his late 20s dead.
Details of the San Patricio Hit-and-Run
According to KRIS-TV, the fatal crash occurred along Interstate 37 near Exit 34 outside of Mathis. The body of Arnulfo Leyva, 28, was found at the scene.
Police believe Leyva was walking on the access road when he was struck by a vehicle. Leyva’s family was staying at a motel in Mathis.
The accident remains under investigation, and anyone with information on the accident or the driver involved is urged to contact authorities.
