Kathryn McDougal

Ms. Kathryn E. McDougal received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University.

Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. McDougal spent seven years practicing labor and employment law in state and federal court, before agencies, and in arbitration. During that time, she drafted several winning briefs for the Texas Courts of Appeals and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. She primarily represented clients in the Southern District of Texas and Harris County District Courts, but she also represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Texas Workforce Commission, and Department of Labor.

As an attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. McDougal focuses her practice on the representation of clients involved in personal injury matters, including car accidents, truck accidents, premises liability, and workplace injuries at the pre-litigation phase.

When she is not busy advocating for her clients, Ms. McDougal is heavily involved in Houston’s music and arts community, including serving on the board of Glasstire.
